Our Founder: Ari Whitten Ph.D. (Cand.), CES, PES.
The Founder of The Energy Blueprint is Ari Whitten. He is an energy and fatigue specialist who focuses on taking an evidence-based approach to energy enhancement, a nutrition, exercise and natural health expert, and #1 best-selling author. He has been studying nutrition and holistic health for over 2 decades. He has a Bachelor’s of Science from San Diego State University in Kinesiology (with specialization in fitness, nutrition and health). He also has a background in exercise physiology and fitness, and holds two advanced certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist. In addition, he recently completed the 3 years of coursework for his PhD in Clinical Psychology, an education which rounds out all aspects – nutrition, fitness, and psychology – of his approach to optimal health.
Ari is a tireless researcher who has obsessively devoted the last 20 years of his life to the pursuit of being on the cutting‑edge of the science on health and energy enhancement.
For the last six years, he’s been working with many of the top scientists and physicians on the planet to develop the most comprehensive program in the world on the science of overcoming fatigue and increasing energy — The Energy Blueprint.
Alex Leaf, M.S., CISSN
Alex Leaf, M.S., CISSN, holds a master’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University and has been writing about the science of nutrition, health, and fitness for over a decade. Currently, Alex is a content creator and researcher alongside Ari Whitten at The Energy Blueprint and is part of the teaching staff for the Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine master’s program at the University of Western States. Formerly, Alex was a senior researcher and editor at Examine.com, one of the leading online databases for nutrition and supplement research.
Evan Hirsch, MD
Evan H. Hirsch, MD, is a functional medicine doctor and the best-selling author Fix Your Fatigue: The 4 step process to resolving fatigue, achieving abundant energy and reclaiming your life! He is one of the nation’s leaders on finding the root causes of fatigue and resolving them. He has helped thousands of people optimize their energy and is on a mission to help 1 million overcome fatigue. He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics in integrative and functional medicine and is board certified in family medicine and integrative medicine. When he’s not at the office, you can find him singing musicals, playing basketball, traveling, dancing hip-hop, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Dr. Yoni Whitten, DC
Dr. Yoni Whitten has been studying wellness, human performance, biomechanics and corrective exercise for over two decades. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in nutrition and health, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. In addition, Dr. Whitten was one of the first Doctors in the United States to be awarded the prestigious status of Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner.
In nearly 15 years of practice, Dr. Whitten has developed a unique approach to helping people overcome chronic pain, postural problems, injuries, common orthopedic problems and achieve physical vibrance.
Michael Chang, MD
Michael Chang M.D., CFMP, is a board-certified physician in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and a certified functional medicine practitioner. He has a private practice Healed and Whole Clinic in Sunnyvale, California, specializing in gut and mitochondrial health/anti-aging. Dr. Chang’s goal is to empower his patients to be proactive in recovering their health and maintain it for the prevention of chronic diseases and prolonging longevity.
