Our Founder: Ari Whitten, M.S.

The Founder of The Energy Blueprint is Ari Whitten, M.S. He is the best-selling author of The Ultimate Guide To Red Light Therapy, and Eat For Energy: How To Beat Fatigue, and Supercharge Your Mitochondria For All-Day Energy. He’s a natural health expert who takes an evidence-based approach to human energy optimizationHe has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist, has extensive graduate-level training in Clinical Psychology, and holds a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine.

Ari is a tireless researcher who has obsessively devoted the last 25 years of his life to the pursuit of being on the cutting edge of the science on health and energy enhancement. He has deep expertise in mitochondrial health, circadian rhythm and sleep, nutrition, gut health, light therapies, fitness, and hormetic stress.

Alex Leaf, M.S., CISSN

Alex Leaf, M.S., CISSN, holds a master’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University and has been writing about the science of nutrition, health, and fitness for over a decade. Currently, Alex is a content creator and researcher alongside Ari Whitten at The Energy Blueprint. Formerly, Alex was a senior researcher and editor at Examine.com, one of the leading online databases for nutrition and supplement research, and a faculty member of the Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine master’s program at the University of Western States. Dr. Yoni Whitten, DC

Dr. Yoni Whitten has been studying wellness, human performance, biomechanics and corrective exercise for over two decades. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in nutrition and health, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. In addition, Dr. Whitten was one of the first Doctors in the United States to be awarded the prestigious status of Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner. 

In nearly 15 years of practice, Dr. Whitten has developed a unique approach to helping people overcome chronic pain, postural problems, injuries, common orthopedic problems and achieve physical vibrance.

Michael Chang, MD

Michael Chang M.D., CFMP, is a board-certified physician in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and a certified functional medicine practitioner. He has a private practice Healed and Whole Clinic in Sunnyvale, California, specializing in gut and mitochondrial health/anti-aging. Dr. Chang’s goal is to empower his patients to be proactive in recovering their health and maintain it for the prevention of chronic diseases and prolonging longevity.
